Custom sewing for individuals with distinct style
About Me |
![]() Following a family tradition, I am a 4th generation seamstress. My mom has sewn since she was young, my grandmother was formally trained as a tailor, and my great-grandmother sewed for the Queen of England. I started sewing at the age of 7, when I made clothes for my dolls by hand. I was given my first sewing machine at the age of 12, and was soon sewing for myself. While completing a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Clothing at the University of California, Davis, I earned money doing alterations and making custom garments for friends and clients. In 2005, I entered the annual “Inspired by Threads” Challenge for the first time and was selected as a finalist, and was selected as a finalist again in 2006. With over 30 years of sewing experience, my passion is creating high quality custom garments and making ready-to-wear garments fit better. From linen snap-front shirts to silk and hemp wedding gowns, I take pride in every project. If you are interested in a custom garment or need alterations, please contact me for a consultation:
